Striker Camps

The Striker Camp will focus on the critical skills required to be a top goal scorer and help players improve their finishing ability in various situations.  Our coaching staff will develop and improve players' technique to become great strikers and ignite the passion for taking risks needed to gain confidence in front of the goal.  This program is not just for strikers but for all players who want to improve their goal-scoring ability while learning how to think with an attacking mindset all over the field.  If you want to hit the back of the net more often this season, register today!  All participants will receive a t-shirt.  Max of 30 per class.

3 v 3 Camps

This camp will focus on each individual wokring on 1 v 1 moves, fast footwork, control, and other technical aspects of the game.  Players will be encouraged to be brave on the ball, take chances, attack players, and build self-confidence on and off the ball.  The camps will finish with 3v3 tournaments which will be fast paced and give the individuals time to shine and show off their new and current skills/mind set.  All participants will receive a t-shirt.  Max of 30 per class.

DANCE CLASSES WITH MISS DAWN

Ballet/Tap:  Ages 3-5- Combination class introducing ballet & tap.  This class will focus on correct technique and terminology, address grace and poise, and review rhythm and style. Ages 6-10- Combination class progressing with ballet & tap.  This class will teach more solid ballet technique, improve upon quicker steps, and introduce more complex choreography. 
Girls Attire: Leotard, tights, tap shoes, ballet shoes, optional skirt or tutu.  Boys Attire: Black pants, white t-shirt, dance shoes.
Jazz/Hip Hop:  Ages 6-10.  While listening to appropriate upbeat music, dancers will be learning energizing blended jazz and hip hop choreography.  Attire: Comfortable stretchy clothes or dancewear.  No jeans.  Clean/dry sneakers, jazz shoes or socks.
Poms:  Ages 6-10.  Dancers will be learning high energy Poms choreography and concepts.  Attire: Comfortable stretchy clothes or dancewear.  No jeans  Clean/dry sneakers, jazz shoes or socks.

CHICAGO LOVES DANCE

Tumbling/Gymnastics
Introduce your child to tumbling and gymnastics with instructors from Chicago Loves Dance.  Students stretch, jump, and tumble while progressing from somersault to cartwheels and round offs in this fun class.

Ages 5 & Up
Private, in person, one on one drum lessons at Niles Park District with Tom Corrao!  All instruction includes note reading, rudiments, history, theory, posture, composition, syncopation, and improvisation.  All styles of music and technique are taught and introduced.  Jazz, pop, funk, Latin, rhythm, blues, percussion, and African drumming.  All equipment and teaching materials for lesson are provided by the instructor for a fee.  Each lesson is 30 minutes.  Lessons are by appointment.  Prior to the start of the session, the instructor will contact you with the time of your lesson.

Meet our Drum Instructor- Tom Corrao
Tom Corrao has 22 years’ experience as a professional drummer, percussionist, and teacher. Tom teaches drums and percussion throughout the northwest suburban park districts and music schools. Tom teaches all ages and level of students from beginning to advance. Tom is an enthusiastic highly experienced teacher and performer. Tom has extensive experience in regular performances both locally and on national tours. He offers each student an individualized lesson plan and curriculum and the best musical experience based on student’s special interests.

Grade 5-8 (as of 2023-2024 school year)

This league will be limited to team registration for the 5th/6th Grade Division and 7th/8th Grade Division.  Teams must have their own coach, a minimum of 8 players and a max of 14 players.  6 teams max per division.  Registration deadline is August 5.

Guitar Lessons
Ages 7 & Up

Private 1 on 1 lessons.  This is a comprehensive guitar course that embarks on a musical journey that covers a spectrum of styles and genres, ensuring a well-rounded and adaptable skill set.  Our course is designed to provide a solid foundation in music theory, chord progressions, scales, and technique.  From the fundamentals, we delve into various genres such as rock, blues, jazz, country, folk, and any other style of interest.  This course ensures a versatile understanding of the guitar that will allow you to transcend genre boundaries.  All you need is an acoustic guitar or electric guitar.  Instructional materials will be provided.  No class April 29, May 27, May 29.

Rahul Pithadia has 13 years of experience as a guitarist with a strong background in rock, rhythm, and the blues.  Rahul brings a wealth of knowledge with his experience in band and orchestral settings.  He is eager to help his students navigate the wonders of the guitar.  He offers each student a personalized lesson plan and curriculum, in congruence with the students interests.  Rahul teaches all ages and level of students from beginning to advanced players.

Let's dance this Summer!  Our dance instructors will work on a variety of dance genres, such as ballet, hip hop, and jazz.  Our days will consist of dancing in the studio, gymnastic skills, games, crafts, and much more!  Mini Camp Dancers will need to bring a snack and drink daily.  Full day campers will need to bring a lunch, snacks, and a drink daily.  Get ready for a learning and fun filled dance experience!  No previous dance experience is required.  Call 847-967-6633 for more information.

Computer Explorers- Lights, Camera, Action, Star Wars
Ages 7-12

Do you want to be the next George Lucas?  We will create our very own Star Wars movie using special digital movie making cameras and software.  As directors and producers, we will work in teams to create our own story and script, them film our own movie.  We will use graphic editing techniques and stop motion animation, add background noise and music.  All students will get a copy of their movie after the class is complete.  Min 6/Max 10.
