Youth Spring Soccer League

Boys & Girls Pre-K to Grade 8 (as of 2023-2024 school year)
This program is designed to provide a fun and safe environment, teach the game of soccer, promote social interaction, and teach team concepts.  Soccer develops individual skills and teamwork and is a vigorous and continuous exercise for the young athlete.  The participant must supply their own shin guards and plastic cleats are optional.  This league is for recreational soccer players.  Club soccer players should not register for Niles Park District recreational soccer.  We are looking for volunteer coaches.  Registration deadline is March 25.

Practices for 1-8 Grade will be scheduled by coaches during the week.  Games will be on Saturdays with one or two Sunday's mixed in.

Mixed Media Art
Ages 6-12

This class will combine a variety of mediums in a single artwork. We will create different collages, sculptures, assembles paintings. We will use many different materials such as paint, clay and found items.  Each student will take home a unique project every week.

Drawing & Painting
Ages 6-12

Individual instruction for beginners and advanced students in the use of different materials that may include charcoal, watercolor, pastels, collage, and acrylics.  Classes will learn the fundamentals of line, shape, form, composition, and creativity.

Creating with Clay
Ages 6-12

Fun for all skill levels, children will create clay projects, exploring materials and methods in ways that inspire new ideas and help develop an individual and unique style.  Each student will decorate and paint their projects and be able to bring them home next class.

Co-Ed Youth Volleyball League
Boys & Girls Grade 4-8 (as of 2023-24 school year)
These volleyball leagues are designed to provide a positive environment for the young athlete to compete, have fun, enhance their volleyball skills, and learn the concept of being a team player.  Each team will play 8 games plus playoffs.  Volunteer coaches are needed.  Teams can sign up as a co-ed team.  Individual club players are welcomed, but no full-time club teams will be allowed.  A max of 3 club players per team will be allowed on the court at one time.  All coaches should fill out and submit a team packet which can be found online.  Team practices are scheduled on Tuesday or Thursday nights throughout the season at the coach's discretion.  Registration deadline is March 18.  Questions, call 847-967-1529.

Adult Co-Ed Volleyball League 
Men & Women 18 & Over
There will be a maximum of 8 teams in this league.  Teams will consist of 6 players on the court at once.  Teams must have at least 3 women on the court during play.  7 game guarantee.  Registration deadline is February 26.

Open Volleyball
Open Volleyball is perfect for anyone looking to stay active in a low-key environment.  There is no registration needed as payment is only required when you show up to play.  Court may be closed over holiday breaks- Dec 19, Dec 26 Jan 2, Mar 26, Apr 2.

Day:  Tuesdays until May 21
Time:  7:00-9:00 pm
Fee:  $3 per visit

Magic Class
Ages 5-12

Children are guaranteed to have a great time as they learn a collection of fascinating and mesmerizing tricks from the 'Magic Team of Gary Kantor'!  Amaze family and friends with tricks that involve cards, ropes, coins, mind-reading, and more.  All materials are provided and each child receives a magic kit to take home.  Children are grouped by age and learn tricks that are age appropriate.  You can sign up for this class again and again since brand new tricks are always taught at each session!  Min 5/Max 35.  Instructor: Magic Team of Gary Kantor

Niles Baseball League

The Niles Baseball League is an affiliate of the Niles Park District.  All registration must be done online at nilesbaseball.com.  Teams will be divided into the following age groups:

Instructional 7-8 years

Little League 9-10 years

Bronco 11-12 years

AA Pony 13-14 years

FLAG FOOTBALL- Winter Session                                                                                                                                                                                           
Grades 1-6

For those who enjoy the game of football, but may not want the tackling, flag football is a great alternative.  Play will consist of 7 on 7.  All players will receive a team jersey and flags will be provided.  Practices will be bi-weekly and scheduled at the coach's discretion. 

Registration will go live December 4 at 9:00am, and spots will fill quickly.  Limited enrollment for each division.

Men & Women 18 Years & Older

League play and playoffs comprise the 10 game schedule.  There are 3 leagues- Men's B Division, Women's Open Division, and Men's 40 & Older.  Award money payouts for playoff and league champions.  A minimum of 5 teams is required to run each league.  Divisions will not be combined if not enough team sign up.  Registration deadline is February 16.  Free agents can register and pay $85.  If ten or more free agents sign up, they will be grouped together to form a team.  Teams must supply their own jerseys.

ALL AROUND ACADEMY
Boys & Girls Grade K-6
Each player will learn the fundamentals.  The players will learn fast footwork, play small-sided games, will be introduced to tactical elements so they can understand positions and roles.  Players will develop fast footwork, technical work on controlling and receiving while being challenged in 1v1 and small sided games.  An introduction to game specific topics and positions.  Each class is limited to 25 participants.
