Junior Class Descriptions:

Squirts (Level .5):  Age 4 only, who are just getting started.
Quick Starters (Level 1):  Players just starting to play tennis.
Hot Shots (Level 2):  Player has little experience playing tennis, needs stroke development.  Player is still working on getting the ball into play and is learning game scoring and rules.
Future Stars (Level 3):  1 hour class.  Can sustain a short rally at slow pace with other players of similiar ability.  Strokes are still developing, knows game rules of tennis.
Future Stars (Level 3.5):  1.5 hours.  Can sustain a short rally at slow pace with other players of similiar ability.  Strokes are still developing, knows game rules of tennis.  Has minimial tournament experience or moved from Level 3 by coach.
Future Stars (Level 4):  2 hours. Tournament level player.  Individual player can sustain a consistent rally and can serve and maintain a higher level of competition.  For players who are not yet in high school.
Challengers (Level 4.5):  Player has improved consistently with medium pace and is developing ability to control directions of the ball.  This level may play lower level tournaments and junior varsity high school.
Champions (Level 5):  Level is required to possess consistent ground strokes with depth and directional control.  Has control of serves, use of lobs, overheads, approach shots, and volleys.  Individual can compete at high school varsity level.

Adult Class Descriptions:

Ladies Beginners:  This class is foe players with little or no tennis experience and will focus on the fundamentals of strokes, grips and terchnique.
Mixed Beginners (Level 1-1.5):  This co-ed class is for players with little or no tennis experience and will focus on basic skills including backhand and forehand ground strokes, serves, and keeping score.
Mixed Advanced Beginners (Level 2-2.5):  A co-ed class for players who have already developed some fundamental skills and can keep the ball in play with some consistency.  Designed for players who are ready to learn volleys, strategy and shot placement, and are comfortable keeping score.
Mixed Intermediate Drill & Play (Level 3.5):  A co-ed class for players ready to play matches at a competitive level and who have already mastered ground strokes, volleys and serves with some dependability.  The focus will be on improving court coverage and strategy while working on shot making and ball placement,

Sharp Shooters
This camp is designed for players to refine their shooting technique.  Become the most valuable shot maker by learning the critical techniques, habits, and mindset of elite shooters.  Our camp will break down the shooting process and focus on proper shooting footwork.  Players will work on spot up shooting, shooting off the dribble, shooting off the pass, free throws and more through shooting drills, shooting games and game scenarios.

Dribble & Attack
This camp will teach players the ball handling and dribbling skills,drills, and techniques they need to master and navigate the court with complete confidence.  This camp will teach players how to cross-over defenders, develop their handle and continue to train on their own.  The curriculum focuses on individual skill development in ball handling and dribbling, a competitive environment, and progresses from individual moves, to drives and team aspects of penetration and kick.

This league will put an emphasis on developing hitting, fielding, and throwing for the beginner using a batting tee.  Each game day will be broken up into 15 minutes of instruction followed by a low key 2 inning game.  Volunteers are needed.  All participants will receive a team t-shirt and hat.

Your kids will have a blast every week discovering how easy and fun it is to cook tasty, healthy, globally inspired recipes!  Our interactive cooking classes incorporate STEAM, culture, language, geography, history and more.  Sticky Fingers Cooking offers young chefs the chance to explore exciting tastes, master culinary skills and nourish their bodies and minds.  Our chef instructors bring all the ingredients, district approved equipment and supplies to lead an engaging, fun and interactive class.  All allergies are accommodated, and recipes are nut free.  Please note that recipes are subject to change based on our creative whim.  We have all new recipes planned throughout the year.  Min 8/Max 12.

Cheer/Poms
Ages 6-10
Under the direction of Chicago Loves Dance instructors, students will learn cheer as well as poms choreography weekly in this upbeat class.  They will learn 3-4 new cheers weekly, work on form, as well as add on to their poms dance routine.  The last day of the class will be a parent watch day where they will do a short performance.
