Niles Park District IceLand Ice Show 2010:  "OUR 40TH YEAR!"

IceLand skaters participate in this extravaganza of music and lights.  Niles Park District gives all students an opportunity to exhibit their talents!

Who is eligible to participate?
Any skater is eligible.  It does matter how old or what level skater you may be.  This show is for all ages and levels.  A skater does have to meet one of two requirements in order to participate.

What are the Ice Show requirements?
A skater must fufill one of the two requirements in order to be involved in the show.
- Enroll in at least one skating session during the 2009-2010 season.
- Skate one freestyle session per week for at least 3 months.

How much practice and rehearsal time is required?
There are approximately 4 practices held once a week beginning Monday, April 12 and continuing through the show weekend.  There are two dress rehearsals:  May 12 for Tot-Freestyle and May 13 for Pre-Alpha - Freestyle.  Participants will skate in all 4 shows the weekend of May 14-16.

When is registration for the Ice Show?
Registration begins November 2 and ends January 4 at IceLand.  Bring your skater so they can be measured for a costume at time of registration.  Registration taken after January 4 is subject to costume availability and a $5 late fee per program number.

You will receive 10 Free Public Skate Coupons if you register for Ice Show before Dec. 1.  No Freestyle or Learn to Skate class substitutions with this offer.

Ice Show numbers do not close, so there is no need to stand in lines.  Make sure your skater is measured and registered before the deadline.

Resident $100
Non-Resident $125
Each additional group number is $75
